I started researching this show after this version was posted:
http://jungleland.dnsalias.com/torrents-details.php?id=36259
and discovered an alternate 2nd recorder source for this Texas stop of The River tour.
Known issues for each recorder:
Recorder 1 (previously posted)
-Prove It All Night - start cut
-Out In The Street - end cut
-The River - start cut
-Because The Night - in song edit
-Wreck On The Highway - first few notes cut at start
-Detroit Medley - end cut
Recorder 2 (this share)
-Prove It All Night - 1:33 patched at the start with Recorder 1 quality improves after
about 2 minutes as the taper gets up and running.
-Cadillac Ranch - 8 seconds of music patched at start Recorder 1
-Candy's Room - 1:02 patched at the start with Recorder 1
-You Can Look - 49 seconds patched at the start with Recorder 1
-Waltz Across Texas - 43 seconds patched a the end with Recorder 1
One other issues with this source, Waltz Across Texas is the last song on tape 2 and cuts off after 2 minutes. It then starts at the beginning of tape 3 and is complete, however, there is a noticeable change in quality between tape 2 and 3. Tape 1 and 2 are high bias tapes and tape 3 is normal bias possibly resulting in the quality change.
In the main body of the show I have the better quality "WaltzÉ" patched with the lesser quality after a little over 2 minutes.
I have also included as a bonus track the complete slightly lesser quality "WaltzÉ" for anyone that doesn't want the slight shift in quality.
Neither tape is particularly good quality. Recorder 1 is distant and on the muffled side, recorder 2 is distant and on the high end side but with the patches we know have for the first time an almost complete document of this show.
All that is missing is the very start of Prove It All Night.
