Notes from info file:
Bruce takes the stage and asks the fans "Are You Ready To Be Delivered?" Bruce knows how to work the crowd and that sets the tone for a high-energy night of music. The show features two tour premieres: "Twist and Shout" and "Give The Girl a Kiss." What would normally be played in the encores, "Twist and Shout" rocked out as the sixth song of the set kicking things off into high gear early on. Great show with a Hershey Kiss sign as a request for "Give The Girl a Kiss." As Rosalita finishes the show, the audience goes crazy! It seems that all the instruments were unplugged and Bruce spontaneously calls the band back for one more song and they close with "Bobby Jean" to finish off a fantastic show!
Bakerstuff did an excellent job with editing and adding fades between discs, which saved me a lot of time. The major problem with this recording is that is was so bass heavy. When I opened the files in the sound editor program I use, it showed that some serious clipping occurred. What that means is that the show was recorded very loud. It also looks like it was normalized in an attempt to correct the problem. The only thing is that it sounded the same but at a lower volume. I've never been to the Hershey Park Stadium so I don't know if the sound system there contributed to some of the heavy thumping noise. But, the sound had no high end to it. I used a filter to reduce the bass by at least 50% and EQed the sound to give it more clarity. Although not perfect this recording sounds brighter and is well worth having.
I just wanna say that I've on occasion been critiqued for messing up the sound. As long as what's being said is in a positive, helpful manner and not out of malice, I take everyone's opinion into consideration. With that said, I am very grateful to Bakerstuff for putting forth the effort and sharing the only recording of this show. I hope that this new enhanced version is enjoyable for all!
