During the last 20 years G.S. has taped an enormous amount of show of a huge number of artists. They circulated in the trading community in various formats: VHS, VCD, SVCD and last DVD but they have never circulated in their best quality.
Now the moment has arrived. G.S. gave to Kokomo Records the key to his collection and "THE G.S. MASTER COLLECTION" is the result of that work. DVD Dubbing Guy and Digi-TOx are substantial part of the project and their know-how and experience serves the project at best. Great thanks to Jeff Molenaar for his precious help and dedication.
Do we have to consider these videos as Ubers? Surely not if we think that they widely circulated over the years. Absolutely yes if we think they never circulated as master's transfer.
All the DVDs presented are transfers from the original HI 8 mm master tapes, no camera mix, no adjustment, just the raw footage with some great work done on dubbing and authoring.
The release, presented here, is the performance that Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band gave in Milan, ITA, on April 19th 1999 in front of an enthusiastic italian audience. It comes in two DVDs 4.7 GB dubbed with a remastered audio recording.
