We are once again gifted with another excellent upgrade to one of the existing well known SB's out of the AK Archives.

This time out it's the incomplete second half of the second night in Detroit during the final stretch of the 1981 portion of The River tour.

Until this show gets an official multi-track release (highly unlikely) this should be considered the definitive version.

It does contain the same cuts as the previously released versions plus one additional 17 second cut that has been patched from another SB source. For the previous release I patched with an audience source, this edition was not patched with the exception of the patch mentioned above. The splices have been smoothed so they are not jarring, there is a minor dip in quality after the first splice in "Rosalita" but the balance of the remains superior to what has come before.

Thanks to AK for continuing to tap his fantastic archives, more is on the way and to all those involved in getting this one prepped and into my hands for release so we all can enjoy it...you know who you are!
