Welcome back to the series of probably uncirculated audience recordings. So the story goes, Tape Man Joe attended 
many concerts. Joe used a Sony D6 with either a Sony 929 or 939 microphone (memories have faded on which exact mic) 
and TDK metal tapes. Joe made a few copies and gave them to friends but never actively traded his recordings. Recently 
Joe lent a few of his masters to his friend, Jungleland user G (a generous collector himself who has lent tapes from 
his collection to help upgrade many shows). G asked me to finish off the transfers and post them. 

When "Perfect in 1985" was released in 1995, it was the first near complete release of a soundboard from the 
BITUSA tour. The title was misleading to say the least. It came from the story introduction to "Glory Days", when 
Bruce declares that he's going to "Get it perfect in 1985". The tape itself is in the secondary level of soundboards. 
There are some playback issues that fade in and out (hiss and hum), and it has the atmosphere of a phone booth. It 
also has numerous cuts ("Out In The Street", "Dancing In The Dark" and "Racing In The Street"). "Bobby Jean" and 
"Twist and Shout" fade out early and missed "Santa Claus is coming to Town" entirely. 

Brucebase has stated for years that an audience tape also circulates. After asking the usual suspects, no one 
seems to have ever seen it. Lucky for us Joe was there. Once again this is a tremendous capture by Joe. There is 
very little audience interference. He misses maybe all of eight seconds (see notes below). For the first time 
ever from this show, we get to hear "Santa Claus is coming to Town".

Tape flip between "Johnny Bye Bye" and "Out In The Street".
