This was the first of 2 nights in Greensboro, NC. A bitter cold wave blanketed the East coast of the United States. But it was smokin’ HOT inside the Coliseum where Bruce and the E Street Band were on fire! An extended Nebraska mini-set in the first half, and a stunning Racing in the Street followed by an acoustic Can’t Help Falling in Love, added to the set only 10 days earlier on Elvis’s birthday, are standouts. And the Twist and Shout / Detroit Medley during the encores does not disappoint! This transfer from my master tapes was courtesy of hobbes4444, with his customary skill. And the fantastic remastering job is due to the efforts of hrubesh, who puts his personal love of Bruce’s music into every moment of his work, both on the sound and also on the artwork.
