This is the second "Ghost Of Tom Joad" Tour upgrade we are blessed with from longtime taper collector AK, the first being the gorgeous December 17, 1995 Beacon Theatre show from an uncirculated second source. 

This release of the fabulous December 12, 1996 show at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville from the same anonymous taper as the Beacon show we first thought was also uncirculated but, it is the same source as the "Bruce Tree Service" source that is currently circulating.

However, AK's DAT Master Clone takes this one up to "must have" status based on both the performance and the upgraded quality. 

The show is reminiscent of the Asbury Park shows and features "The Jersey Cowgirls" (Soozie Tyrell & Patti Scailfa) on five songs.

We owe a big debt of gratitude to the anonymous taper and AK for safeguarding the DAT Master clone all these decades as well as the new transfer and his generosity for us all to enjoy for decades to come.

The city, venue and audience really bring out the best in Bruce, don't pass this one up!
