The four-panel wraparound cover is printed in silver on Somerset Black Textured 250 GSM with a handrolled yellow edge along the deckle edge. It is hand sewn with matching yellow thread. A woodcut illustration of storm clouds is printed black on black on the cover and then repeated white on white Mulberry as a flysheet for the essay.
This book is a sumptuous production that was printed by two of the most accomplished letterpress printers in the country; synaesthesia press of Los Angeles and Lead Graffiti in Newak, Delaware.
There are 200 numbered copies in wraps and 26 lettered hardbound copies. All copies are signed by Nick Hornby on his essay. The hardbound copies are signed by Nick Hornby and Bruce Springsteen. The hardbound issue is SOLD OUT.
