This thread contains lists of all Bruce Springsteen albums, singles, and home videos releases or reissues that were distributes exclusively with special editions of magazines and newspapers all over the world. Some are a series and some are one-time releases. As far as I know, this was done in France, Germany, Italy, Portugal, and Spain.

Notes:
- I started this thread to consolidate the information I gathered in the past, and hopefully complete the missing info.
- Please let me know if you have any additions or corrections, or if you are aware of any other such releases/reissues.
- I need confirmation of all what is marked in red below. Please compare with your copies.
- There a lot that I don't know about the Portuguese "Editora Planeta DeAgostini" reissue series:
-- An announcement of the series would reveal a list of the titles with their release dates.
-- Was there a box that houses the complete set? How was it issued?
-- I am not 100% sure that it's correct to call it the "Editora Planeta DeAgostini" reissue series
-- I don't know with which magazines or newspapers was this series issued
-- Some copies have a numbered sticker on the back. Apparently they are Brazil export copies. See more info here.

24 Bruce Springsteen albums and home videos reissued in Spain in 2008-2009 by Spanish newspaper El Periódico De Catalunya. The paper offered a different Springsteen release each Sunday over the course of four months between September 2008 and March 2009. The CD albums came housed in cardboard mini-LP sleeves but the DVD's and CD/DVD sets are common stock releases in their original DVD or CD packaging. Each release also includes a 7.4"x7.4" full-colour hardback book with new notes in Spanish written by Salvador Trepat, song lyrics in English, album and tour reviews in Spanish, and unreleased photos. The book includes a pocket page that can be used to store the disc(s).

Corriere Della Sera is an Italian daily newspaper published in Milan and TV Sorrisi E Canzoni is an Italian listings magazine. They both belong to the Arnoldo Mondadori Editore publishing company. Between August and December 2012, Corriere Della Sera and TV Sorrisi E Canzoni ran a reissue series consisting of 20 titles (18 albums and 2 home videos) from Bruce Springsteen's back catalog. The titles were sold with the newspaper or the magazine and were also available for purchase separately at newsstands.

Each of the titles comes in a 16x16cm fold-out sleeve with exclusive inner artwork and booklets. They can all be housed in an exclusive cardboard slipcase that was issued alongside the first title in the series, Born In The U.S.A. They were originally sealed with a 16.5x28 cm display card.

It comes in a standard DVD case, originally sealed and glued to an 8.3x13.5 inch display card.

TV Sorrisi E Canzoni is an Italian listings magazine. It belongs to the Arnoldo Mondadori Editore publishing company. Between December 2022 and June 2023, it ran a reissue series consisting of 27 titles (21 studio albums and 6 live albums) from Bruce Springsteen's back catalog. The titles were sold with the magazine and were also available for purchase separately at newsstands.

Each of the titles comes in a 14x14cm fold-out sleeve and they all can be housed in an exclusive cardboard slipcase that was issued alongside the first title in the series, Born To Run. All titles were originally sealed with a cardboard display card.

La Repubblica is an Italian daily newspaper and L'Espresso is an Italian weekly news magazine. Between November 2008 and February 2009, La Repubblica and L'Espresso ran a reissue series consisting of Bruce Springsteen's first twelve studio albums. The titles were sold with the newspaper or the magazine and were also available for purchase separately at newsstands. The albums, which were each housed in 5.4"x5.4" mini-LP sleeve, were specially pressed for this series and feature unique catalogue numbers with "BSC" prefixes. They originally came sealed with a cardboard display card. The first title in the series, Born In The U.S.A., was sealed on the display card together with a folded exclusive cardboard slipcase to store the complete series.

Special pressing available exclusively with Italian magazine "Il Grande Rock". There are two versions of the CD issue, one on the CBS label and one on the Columbia label. CBS Records was officially renamed Columbia Records on 01 Jan 1991 worldwide except in Spain (until 2004) and Japan. Since this release was apparently pressed in Austria, it seems that the first batch of these CDs were pressed in 1990 (on the CBS label) and the second batch was pressed in 1991 (on the Columbia label).

"Historia De La Musica Rock" was a Spanish Rock And Roll weekly magazine consisting of 100 issues and published between September 1981 and November 1983. The magazine was written and published by Juan Manuel Prado and Jordi Sierra I Fabra. In 1984, the series was reissued in 6 hardbound volumes. Each of the magazine's 100 issues came with a major artist/band album. Issue #95, apparently released in October 1983, came with Bruce Springsteen's "Born To Run" album issued in both vinyl LP and cassette tape formats.

I recently bought four more of these reissues:
- The Rising CD, Spanish "El Periódico" reissue
- Devils & Dust CD+DVD, Portuguese reissue
- In Concert / MTV Plugged DVD, Portuguese reissue
- Blood Brothers DVD, Portuguese reissue

I noticed that the Portuguese copies have special Portuguese stickers on the back cover (see scans below). However, not all copies from this series have that sticker (see the copies on Discogs). Even copies of the same release comes with or without sticker (see my my copy and the Discogs copy for an example).

I was wondering if this sticker has to do with copies exported to Brazil. Note that Planeta DeAgostini is also present in Brazil.
Either
Copies used for the local Portuguese market do not have stickers and copies exported to Brazil have stickers
or

I was lucky to finally get my hands on the magzine, completing my copy (scans added). It's 16 pages, 12 of which dedicated to Elvis Presley. Bruce Springsteen article on page 15 only; the inner side of teh back cover.

Gradually filling some gaps in my collection, just added 3 titles in the Spanish "El Periódico" reissue series. The River is an interesting one. The album and the book came sealed side by side, with a red "Bruce Springsteen" title on the seal.
