Bruce Springsteen contributed to the studio recording of two songs on Letter To Laredo, ALL JUST TO GET TO YOU and I'M A THOUSAND MILES FROM HOME, providing backup vocals. The album was recorded at Spur Studios (Joe Ely's home studio) in Austin, TX. Springsteen travelled to Austin around spring 1995 and joined Ely in studio to record his parts.
As far as it's known, Bruce Springsteen has never performed I'M A THOUSAND MILES FROM HOME live.
