The above lyrics are for Heather Nova's cover version of Bruce Springsteen's I'M ON FIRE. For her version she modified the lyrics to fit the female gender. The song was recorded live on 04 Nov 1998 at E Werk in Cologne, Germany. It was released on her 2000 live album Wonderlust (Live).

Heather Nova released another version of I'M ON FIRE on her 1996 EP Truth & Bone. That version was recorded live on 23 Nov 1995 in Nagoya, Japan.
