"Hearing Bruce Springsteen's version of my song, She Don't Love Me Now, really took my breath away," Jesse Malin wrote in a statement on the single's release day. "When we recorded the original, we were going for some kind of Stax/Sam Cooke vibe. Bruce went deeper, and brought out even more of the soul. A music video for the song was also released on Jesse Malin's YouTube channel on the same day. The video is a song visualizer by Caroline Jaecks, with additional cinematography by Karla Moheno, Noah Witt, Jon Phillips, and Nicole Zenoni.
Silver Patron Saints: The Songs Of Jesse Malin features a variety of artists covering songs originally released by Jesse Malin. It was officially released on 20 Sep 2024 on Glassnote Records. The album is available as a three-disc LP set as well as digital download and streaming. Two editions of the vinyl release were issued, one on black vinyl and one on colored vinyl (disc 1 in red, disc 2 in yellow, and disc 3 in green).
Proceeds from the album sales go to Jesse Malin's Sweet Relief fund, supporting him in his ongoing recovery from the spinal stroke he suffered in May 2023.
