Notes:
- I tried to list the versions in the correct chronological order.
- Please have a look at your copies and tell me if you have one that's any different from the ones I listed.
- I need confirmation for all what is marked in red above. Please compare with your copies.
- Based on what I've seen so far:
-- Version 1 was pressed at the Pitman, NJ plant, at the Terre Haute, IN plant, and at the Santa Maria, CA plant.
-- Version 2 was pressed at the Terre Haute, IN plant.
-- Version 3 was pressed at the Pitman, NJ plant and at the Santa Maria, CA plant.
-- Version 4 was pressed at the Pitman, NJ plant.
-- Version 5 was pressed at the Pitman, NJ plant, at the Terre Haute, IN plant, and at the Carrollton, GA plant.
-- Version 6 was pressed at the Carrollton, GA plant.
- I saw a copy on eBay that consists of version 1 labels with version 2 sleeve (photos here). More such copies need to be seen to make sure that the sleeve/disc were not switched on this copy.

- There's a copy on Discogs that consists of version 5 labels with a sleeve that has catalog number 32432 on the back, but without a barcode. I did not document such sleeve above. Unfortunately on the Discogs page the photo used is of very bad quality. Hopefully I'll get my hands on such copy, or at least good photos.
- According to Brucespringsteen.it, some copies of version 6 were mislabeled, with side 2 label replaced by one from Toto's 1988 album The seventh one.

There's a copy of version 1 on eBay that includes a printed inner sleeve promoting releases on the Bell Records label (which belonged to Columbia at the time). More such copies need to be seen to make sure that this inner sleeve was not wrongly added to this copy. I'm saving the photos here for record purposes.

Re: USA LP variants: The Wild, The Innocent, & The E Street Shuffle
This is a copy of version 1 that was sold recently on Tradera (a seller from Stockholm). This copy was used for export to Europe. It has CBS stickers masking the Columbia logos on the cover and on the labels. Up to 1990, EMI Records Ltd. owned the international rights to the Columbia trademark, so distributors had to mask all "Columbia" logos and references for legal reasons.
