Can you describe the sleeve? ...or post an example? That would help me when I ask sellers on Discogs before I buy a copy and end up with the wrong sleeve. It's strange that LITF states that it was "reissued with plain black die-cut sleeve".

Moreover, I've seen a number of copies in a CBS company sleeve, including one on your website. I also just bought a copy from a Swedish Discogs seller that comes in a CBS sleeve, though I have no idea what that sleeves looks like. I assume it's like yours. Anyway, I believe such copies were exported. I added it to the list.

I noticed that one of my copies of "The River / Born To Run / Rosalita" (CBS A13-1179) with misspelling has a "Made in U.K." sticker. I also saw that same sticker on a corrected version on eBay. it looks like that these are company stickers. Should I consider these as different variants?

That was a mistake off mine. Not the Holland Rosalia has this sleeve but the UK The River. You also mentioned this later on.
I never came across a Rosalita release with a black die-cut sleeve and I'm also not sure if we should count the company sleeves as separate releases because anyone can put them in one of these.

That depends on how serious you take collecting. For me these small stickers are not counted as an extra variant.

I don't have a clue. Maybe some other red label versions were also released just for the 12" collection or all of them were available separately.

Regarding company sleeves
In principle I agree with your point. For example, if a certain single was issued in both picture and company sleeves, I only count one version and I hunt the copy with the picture sleeve. However, there are some particular examples where you have to have both. An obvious example is the Aussie pressing of War. It comes in an Aussie picture sleeve, but copies were also exported to New Zealand in an Epic company sleeve.

Regarding stickers
I count them as separate versions only if the sticker has been added by the record company. For example, a New Zealand single with a promo sticker or an Austria-pressed CD with a German sticker. Another good case study is the 2015 remastered reissues. For example, the only difference between the EU issue, the US issue, and RSD issue of Born In the U.S.A. is the hype sticker. Of course, I would not consider stickers added by radio stations or record retailers as separate versions. Collecting all of these sticker variants would be extreme, but nonetheless they should be considered as different versions in a complete discography list. I would not spend much to buy them ─ money would be better spent on other priorities ─ but whenever such copy falls in my hand I would list it as a separate version.

Regarding promo-stamps
The same logic as the stickers applies. Good examples are the promo stamps added by the record company to Aussie CD and 7" singles, US albums and EP's...

I will only consider copies with "Made in U.K." stickers as separate versions if I can confirm that they were added by the record company. For time being, I tend to believe that they were added by a distributor in the United States ─ both copies listed in the above post came from the U.S.

If these were exported, it makes sense that company sleeves be used instead of a PS that promotes UK dates. I bought a copy from a Swedish seller and I just received it today. It has exactly the same die-cut CBS UK sleeve as yours. Do you remember where you bought your copy from? I'm trying to find out if copies in company sleeves were used for export (the USA, where they seem to have used "Made In The UK" stickers, is a special case).

I removed it from the list. All copies on eBay and most on Discogs Marketplace come in a PS. I would add it later if I find concrete information that copies with die-cut CBS logo sleeves were used for export.

I see on Popsike that many copies were sold. Also some were sold on Discogs. I hate myself for missing on this one. Added to the list. I found a copy on sale that's not sealed, but the seller claims it's new. Were they all not sealed? Was yours sealed?
