Live 20 Oct 1995 version
Well your mama didn't like me, so we just ran away
We got a little apartment in a hotel down in Brownsville Way
I used to sit in the kitchen, play guitar when night turned to day
We always thought we had something no one could ever take away
Oh but the time run out and the payment's due
Well there'll never be enough time to forget about you
Well there'll never be enough time to forget about you
Whoa!
We used to lie in bed all day, plot our destination
And talk about why you liked the miracles and I dug the temptations
But all those good times that we had just turned into frustration
When we made our final move, well there is no hesitation
Because the time run out and the payment's due
There will never be enough time to forget about you
Well there'll never be enough time to forget about you
Whoa!
Never be enough time
Well the time run out and the payment's due
Well there'll never be enough time to forget about you
Well there'll never be enough time to forget about you
Never be enough time to forget about you
Never be enough time to forget about you
Never be enough time to forget about you
Never be enough time to forget about you
Never be enough time
Never be enough, be enough time
Never be enough, never be enough
Never be enough time, be enough time
Never be enough, never be enough
Never be enough time, be enough time
Never be enough, never be enough
Never be enough time, time
Hey!
